Q: Do you recommend reservations/are reservations necessary?
A: Yes please. We will most likely sell out all three nights in advance as we have done so the past few years. Reservations can be made by calling (858) 755-2669 or Clicking Here.
Q: What if someone in our party is gluten-free or vegetarian?
A: If a guest is gluten-free or vegetarian they may select an appetizer and entree
from the Gluten-Free or Vegetarian and Vegan Menu and the price will be $47 for adults.
For children 12 and under they may select an entree from the Gluten-Free
Vegetarian & Vegan Menus and a soda, iced tea, or lemonade and the price will be $26.

Q: What if someone in our group is age 5 or under?
A: Children 5 or under may share with their parents.
Q: Does everyone dining at Del Mar Rendezvous on Christmas Eve,
Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve need to order from the Prix Fixe Menu?
A: Yes please (with the exception of Gluten-Free and
Vegetarian guests and guests age 5 and under, all of whom are referenced above)
Q: What if I'd like to order something not on the prix fixe menu?
A: Once everyone at the table has ordered from the prix fixe menu you may ask your server if it is possible to order additional items from our regular menu. Our ability to honor these requests will depend on kitchen volume at that time, as we are trying to ensure that we are meeting or exceeding all of our guests expectations. If there is a dish you just have to have, we recommend pre-ordering take-out as we will be offering our full menu for our take-out patrons that day. Pre-ordering at least 1 day in advance is highly recommended as we will only be able to fulfill one takeout order every half hour or so due to how busy we are these three holidays. Q: What if we'd like to order dessert?

Q: If I'm an adult, may I order from the children's menu?
A: You are more than welcome to select entrees from the children's
menu to accompany your first course. The price for the dinner will be
$47 as if you were selecting from the adult menu options.
Q: Why do you require a credit card in order to hold reservations?
A: Holidays are a special time for our guests, many of whom unfortunately will not be able to dine with us as we will be all booked up. To ensure that we are able to share our hospitality, cuisine, and ambiance with the most guests possible, we require credit cards to hold reservations. We do not charge the credit card unless there is a no-show or cancellation within 24 hours and we are not able to fill the space. As a courtesy we call all of our guests dining with us on a holiday the day prior to confirm their reservations. We appreciate your understanding.
Q: Why do you offer a prix-fixe menu on the holidays?
A: In order to share our hospitality, cuisine, and ambiance while at the same time meeting or exceeding all of our guests expectations during these special times, we have to reduce the amount of dishes that we are serving. For those that have a special dish they just have to have on the holidays, we recommend pre-ordering take-out as early as possible as we will be offering our full menu for take-out orders, but will only be able to take about 1 order every 30 minutes in order to ensure we are meeting or exceeding all of our guests expectations.
